We’re here for you
Helping families to feel better
Access to care
Finding the right support is often the first step in feeling better. At Healios, we ensure exceptional care is an everyday occurrence.
Mental health and neurodiverse conditions impact different people and families in different ways. With our support, your family can step forward together
Focus on feelings
Our caring team aims to help families feel better by helping them to understand, communicate and ultimately improve how they feel.
Having close family and friends who’ve suffered from mental health challenges and dementia, Healios founder Rich Andrews experienced first-hand the challenge of accessing support for both the individual and the families involved. Healios was founded in 2013 to tackle the global inequality of healthcare provision that affects over one billion people worldwide with mental health and neurodiverse conditions.
The first step
After accompanying NHS clinicians to the homes of families impacted by severe mental illness, Rich knew a solution had to be created. The emotional experience of seeing families struggle and lose hope put Rich on the path to find a solution that could not only support the individual with mental health challenges, but also get the family involved for the best outcome.
Pioneers from the start
After assembling a team of talented Healios Pioneers, we created the world’s first family intervention approach delivered through technology for those affected by severe mental illness and their families. We saw the difference this made to the lives of families and started working with the NHS to make our solution as broadly available as possible.
Fast forward to today and we have built the world’s most comprehensive range of clinical services across children’s mental health and neurodiverse conditions. We are motivated every day to improve lives. Through our extensive work with NHS partners around the UK, we are fortunate to have already touched the lives of thousands of families. Healios is headquartered in London, UK.
Our passionate and caring team of Healios Pioneers continues to innovate new tools and techniques that allow our multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care. We will work endlessly until every family can access the support they need to feel better. We will empower families to stay connected and develop the skills required for long-term mental health and wellbeing.
Healios is the leader in family-first care
We believe in the power of family and friends in supporting a person with a mental health or neurodiverse condition. Oftentimes, family members can feel stressed, worried or disempowered as they might not know how best to care for their loved one.
We’ve pioneered family-first care through technology. Our system allows family members to be part of the care approach, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to create a happier, healthier family life.
